На данный момент экспорт там в зачаточно состоянии.
У меня в планах есть это доделать. Немного позже...
Если есть желание - можешь и сам попробовать.

Очередной патчик. Теперь будет работать поиск в окне просмотра сформированного отчёта.
Также исправлена ошибка вставки переменной/поля в редактор скрипта.

Очень смешно, все версии которые там были поставил и не обнаружил LazReport.

А где смотрели? Разве там нет такой папки /lazarus/components/lazreport/?

Он не предустановлен.
Надо открыть файл
"\lazarus\components\lazreport\source\lazreport.lpk"
и установить его.

А можно ли экспортировать из lazreport-а в MS Word например?

Это не кросс-платформненно. Наверное лучше взять OpenDocument Format, тем более, что Microsoft Office начиная с 2007 SP2 это уже может открывать.

Кстати - насчёт экспорта.
Сейчас появились две дополнительные компоненты экспорта - в html и в картинку (bmp, jpeg ...) - очень хорошо преобразуют. Идут в папке addons Lazreport-а.

как мне сдвинуть вниз master data в designer я сдвигаю вниз а в preview он все равно сверху
